So, I guess maybe (hopefully) people are also interested in what I think sometimes and not just my pictures. Haha. I guess, after reading other people's blogs and tumblrs, it made me realize that I can also express a lot through words (DUH). I know right? But I guess I've been really lazy on that part, and NOW, I feel like writing. =)
So tonight at training, I really felt good. We were going through the aspect/ idea of spiritual formation and how we can continue to sharpen ourselves through really understanding who God is, through understanding what the Holy Spirit is and to try and comprehend that the HS and God's presence is not really definable. Like for example, the way God speaks to us, cannot necessarily be understood completely. It really is something that is out of this world, and no science or theory can really prove how God speaks to people. Which is and can be TOTALLY awesome =). (it really depends on how you think it).
So I guess 1 thing that I can take out of tonight, is about listening, praying and not being tied up.
Hebrews 2:1 So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.
James 1:19 ...you must be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
2 Tim 2:4 Soldiers don't get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.

Meals at NYCUP
So during this past summer, I was at the Bronx living with 12 other students (who are all extremely awesome by the way), and while we were there we would have to cook our own food. And this is the result of living with a group of diverse people. Very diverse meals. =).
